Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® will roar into Philadelphia this winter with Barnum’s FUNundrumSM and perform at the Wachovia Center for the first time in 13 years from Wednesday, February 24 through Sunday, February 28 for 11 performances

Johnathan Lee Iverson dons the iconic top hat once again to become the Ringmaster of a production that celebrates the extraordinary legacy of the greatest showman on earth! And in following the tradition of P.T. Barnum’s pursuit for global and fascinating talent, Jonathan, who was the first African American Ringmaster, as well as the youngest Ringmaster to ever welcome Children of All Ages to The Greatest Show On Earth, is a multi-talented performer and exceptional vocalist.

With the Spectrum slated for demolition this April, the Greatest Show on Earth, which had performed in the Spectrum for 41 of the arena's 42 years, will headline the Wachovia Center for the first time since June of 1997. This is also the first time the Circus, which has traditionally performed in Philadelphia in the spring, will visit the City of Brotherly Love in February. The Philadelphia Flyers and the National Hockey League will be taking a Winter Olympic break in February which enables the Circus to perform at the Wachovia Center from February 24 through 28.

Thrill-seekers may pay for the entire seat, but will only need its edge as a rip-roaring motorcycle troupe performs an incredible feat where seven motorcyclists brave fear and physics in the 16-foot Spherical Miracle.  Height-seeking high-wire artists perform atop a wire no wider than your thumb 40 feet in the air, all while at a 45 degree angle. Masters of Musculature use their bodies in the ultimate test to see how far the human body can be pushed in a mind-blowing world of distortion and contortion.    

Just as the Ringling Bros.® train keeps traveling from city to city, Barnum’s FUNundrum keeps the energy going with electriflying aerialists, daring acrobatic artists on a two-tiered trapeze and teeter-tottering troupes catapulting high above the arena floor. Each extraordinary act blends thrills and contemporary spectacle to overdeliver a heart-racing experience that, until now, was beyond imagination!
