PLAN YOUR TRIP: NEW HEALTH & SAFETY GUIDELINES

Attending a game or event at Wells Fargo Center will be a little different than your last visit. Many of our health and safety measures are new, but the passion and excitement are the same.  Please read about our new procedures and protocols that have been put in place to protect you and other guests.  Please note that all Wells Fargo Center policies and procedures must be followed at all times while you’re at the arena.

FACE COVERINGS/MASKS

Face coverings are required for all guests (ages two and up) at all times within the Wells Fargo Center and surrounding areas (including the parking lots).

HEALTH ASSESSMENT

Each guest must complete a mandatory self-assessment health questionnaire onsite prior to ticket scanning and entering the building.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

Guests must practice physical distancing at all times inside Wells Fargo Center by maintaining at least six (6) feet of distance between other patrons outside of their immediate party. 

BAGS

Fans are not permitted to bring bags of any size into the venue.

PARKING

Wells Fargo Center will offer a contactless parking experience through SP+ Parking Solutions.

ARENA ENTRY & EXIT

Guests will be directed to a dedicated entrance to the arena based on the location of their parking spot and seat inside the venue.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

Fans will now be able to order food and drinks directly from their mobile devices and all food and beverage transactions are cashless.

RETAIL

The New Era Team Store and other merchandise locations at Wells Fargo Center will be open, and we’ve made it easier than ever to purchase Flyers and 76ers gear. 

TICKETING

All tickets for Wells Fargo Center events will be delivered digitally and will be scanned from guests’ mobile devices at the arena to maintain a contactless guest experience.

We’ve also recently installed brand new ticket-scanning turnstiles at Wells Fargo Center so guests for contactless entry.  Staff will also be on hand at each entrance to help guests scan their tickets, if necessary.

LIMITED CAPACITY AND POD SEATING

Wells Fargo Center will initially welcome limited capacity crowds in adherence with the latest public health guidance from City and state officials.  

Guests will be seated in ‘pods’ so that each party can maintain social distance from other guests. 

Given the different health and safety requirements and league regulations for hockey and basketball games, the seating and ticketing processes will be different for Flyers and 76ers games

WHAT WE'VE DONE TO KEEP YOU SAFE

BRAND NEW, $11 MILLION AIR FILTRATION SYSTEM

We’ve installed a state-of-the-art HVAC system that replaces all the air in the arena’s seating bowl in less than 30 minutes.

BRAND NEW "CLEAN TEAMS"

We have created dedicated “Clean Teams” that are focused on the complete sanitization of high-touch areas around the arena before, during and after events with EPA and CDC-approved disinfectants and cleaning products, as well as electrostatic sprayers.

To help fans keep their hands clean and prevent the spread of germs, Wells Fargo Center has also installed hand sanitizing stations throughout the arena’s concourse and at all employee and guest entrances.

SANITIZATION AND CLEANING

We’re not just keeping our arena clean - our Clean Teams are utilizing science-backed, health-focused disinfection and cleaning strategies throughout every inch of Wells Fargo Center.

To help fans keep their hands clean and prevent the spread of germs, Wells Fargo Center has also installed hand sanitizing stations throughout the arena’s concourse and at all employee and guest entrances.

RESTROOMS

All restrooms in Wells Fargo Center have been upgraded with touchless appliances including paper towel dispensers, sinks, toilets and hand soap dispensers. There will be a designated flow of entry and exit based on flow direction on the concourse. Restrooms will be sanitized and cleaned frequently. Guests must wash their hands before returning to their seats.

CASHLESS TRANSACTIONS

All transactions at Wells Fargo Center can now be conducted completely cashless, including retail, concessions, and parking.  For fans who bring cash to the arena, Reverse ATMs will be available on-site to load cash onto a pre-paid debit card.

EMPLOYEE PROTOCOLS

All employees are subject to a temperature check and health/symptom screening before entering Wells Fargo Center for work.  Employees are required to wear a mask at all times while in the arena and surrounding areas. 

Employees exhibiting symptoms associated with COVID-19 (fever, cough, sore throat, sudden loss of taste/smell) or who have been knowingly exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 are required to stay home.

HOW MANY FANS ARE ABLE TO ATTEND EVENTS AT WELLS FARGO CENTER?

We’re closely following public health restrictions from city and state officials, and guidance from the NHL and NBA to ensure that fans can be as safe as possible inside Wells Fargo Center.

Right now, we'll be able to host approximately 3,100 fans for Flyers and 76ers games.

WHEN WILL CAPACITY INCREASE FOR EVENTS AT WELLS FARGO CENTER?

We’re working day and night to welcome guests back to Wells Fargo Center as safely as possible.  We’re in constant contact with city and state officials, public health experts, and the NBA and NHL to determine what capacity is appropriate for Wells Fargo Center.

WHICH KIND OF FACE COVERINGS ARE PERMITTED?

All face coverings must: 

  • Fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin

  • Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face

  • Allow the guest to remain hands-free

At this time, based on guidance from health authorities, the following are NOT permitted face coverings: 

  • Those with holes in the covering, including exhalation valves or made solely of materials such as mesh or lace fabric. 

  • Face coverings that cannot be secured under the chin, such as bandanas, neck gaiters, or face shields. Face shields may be worn in addition to, but not in place of, a face covering.

You may remove your face covering while seated at your seat and actively eating or drinking, provided you are maintaining appropriate physical distancing. 

Security staff will enforce these policies throughout the Wells Fargo Center.  Any guest not wearing a face covering or wearing a face covering that violates Wells Fargo Center’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols is subject to ejection.

DOES MY CHILD NEED TO WEAR A FACE-COVERING OR MASK?

All guests ages two and up must wear a face covering at all times.

IF I CAN'T WEAR A MASK FOR MEDICAL REASONS, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Exceptions to the face covering requirement will be recognized as required by law.  Any guest who requires an accommodation must notify the arena at least twenty-four (24) hours in  advance of the event by contacting Guest Services at [email protected]. A face shield will be provided for any guest who cannot wear a face covering.

HOW DOES PARKING WORK AT WELLS FARGO CENTER?

Fans can pre-pay and receive digital parking passes for the lot closest to their seat location inside Wells Fargo Center. For guests paying for parking on gameday, all parking booths have been upgraded with mobile and touchless technology to allow for contactless transactions.  Guests can also still pay for parking with cash. 

Parking lots will open one hour prior to the event. Fans will be required to maintain social distancing while traveling between vehicle and building. Tailgating is not permitted.

ARE GUESTS ALLOWED TO BRING ANY BAGS TO WELLS FARGO CENTER?

Only small wallets, clutches (not to exceed 4.5” x 6.5” with or without handle), medically-required bags, and parenting bags are permitted and will be subject to an X-ray scan and visual security check.

Oversized bags can be stored in lockers located on the Broad Street side of the building. Lockers are priced based on bag size, ranging from $5 to $15, payable by credit cards only. Lockers are limited and available on first come, first served basis.

HAVE ANY RULES CHANGED FOR ENTERING WELLS FARGO CENTER?

Fans will also be given a preferred window of time when they should enter the arena to limit congestion at entrances. Staff will be positioned outside to assist fans and ensure that PPE requirements have been followed prior to entry.  

Both of Wells Fargo Center’s main entrances are ADA accessible.  Any person with disabilities may enter through either main entrance, even if you are directed to a different dedicated entrance.

WHAT QUESTIONS ARE GUESTS ASKED DURING THE HEALTH ASSESSMENT?

  • Have you experienced any known symptoms of COVID-19 in the previous 24 hours?
  • Have you, anyone you live with, or anyone you have been in contact with been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the previous 24-48 hours?
  • Have you been contacted by a public health authority within 14 days due to having close contact with an individual infected with COVID-19?
  • Have you been directed to quarantine by a physician or local public health authority?
  • Have you have tested positive or been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 10 days? If so, have you received clearance from a physician to discontinue isolation?

CAN I BUY FOOD AND DRINKS AT WELLS FARGO CENTER?

All transactions made at the counter will be cashless, using either credit or debit cards. For fans who bring cash to the arena, reverse ATMs will be available on-site to load cash onto a pre-paid debit card.  Each food and beverage location is also outfitted with social distancing line placements and protective barriers.

Customers must remain in their seats while eating or drinking, and alcohol will only be served when in the same transaction as a meal.

CAN I BUY FLYERS & 76ERS MERCHANDISE AT WELLS FARGO CENTER?

Guests can order and pay for merchandise online at shop.wfcphilly.com on their mobile devices and pick it up right at the New Era Team Store. Guests can also purchase items in the store and at merchandise counters, which have been outfitted with social distancing line placements and protective barriers.

Cash will not be accepted; however, reverse ATMs will be available on-site to load cash onto a pre-paid debit card.

WILL THERE BE ADA SEATS AVAILABLE?

Yes, ADA seating will be available.
