Philadelphia, PA (April 13, 2018) – For the first time in six years, the Wells Fargo Center is gearing up for both National Basketball Association (NBA) and National Hockey League (NHL) playoff games as the Philadelphia 76ers are set to tip off against the Miami Heat in Game 1 of round one on Saturday, April 14 at 8 p.m. and the Philadelphia Flyers are set to face off against the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 3 of round one on Sunday, April 15 at 3 p.m.

To help kick off the home celebrations, Wells Fargo Center, together with Aramark is offering new food and beverage options, new merchandise options and hosting pre-game tailgate parties prior to each game.

PRE-GAME TAILGATE PARTIES:

Wells Fargo Center and Aramark will host Playoff Pre-Game Tailgate Parties for ticketholders inside and outside the Cure Insurance Club on the 11th street side of the arena featuring live music, delicious food and drink options, games and more. The party will begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 15 and at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 15.

NEW FOOD AND DRINK OFFERS:

Introducing the Playoff Hot Dog:

Wells Fargo Center and Aramark are set to offer a specialty playoff hot dog called the “Hot Streak Delco Dog.” The hot dog is a split top hot dog with house made chili, crumbled bacon, topped with American cheese sauce served on a pretzel bun. The specialty playoff hot dog can be found at Fan Favorite Stands at sections 104, 110, 122, and 212 at Wells Fargo Center. The new hot dog will be available during all home Flyers and 76ers playoff games.

Specialty Playoff Cocktails:

During all home 76ers playoff games “The Moment” Sixers signature playoff cocktail will be available for purchase. The specialty cocktail includes: Citron Vodka, Blueberry Simple Syrup, lime juice and fresh blueberries served in a souvenir mason jar.

During all home Flyers playoff games the “Earn Tomorrow” Signature Flyers playoff cocktail will be available for purchase. The specialty cocktail includes: Silver Rum, Blood Orange Liqueur, lime juice, simple syrup and club soda served in a souvenir mason jar.

The specialty cocktails will be available for purchase at the Cure Insurance Club cure club, the 204 Mezzanine Landing, the 216 Mezzanine Landing and in Tito’s Bar.

Commemorative Playoff Cups:

A commemorative playoff cup will be available for purchase during both Flyers and 76ers home playoff games.

PLAYOFF MERCHANDISE:

The Wells Fargo Center New Era Team Store is set to unveil “Phila Unite” 76ers playoff merchandise including sweatshirts, t-shirts and hats on Saturday, April 14. The New Era Team Store will open at 5 p.m. on Saturday to accommodate 76ers fans on Saturday.

The New Era Team Store will also unveil “Earn Tomorrow” Flyers playoff merchandise including t-shirts and hats on Sunday, April 15. The New Era Team Store will open at 12 p.m. to accommodate Flyers fans on Sunday.

In its 21-year history the Wells Fargo Center has hosted both NBA and NHL playoffs nine other times (1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2008, 2009, 2011, and 2012). The Wells Fargo Center hosted the NBA Finals in 2001 (Philadelphia 76ers vs. LA Lakers) and hosted the NHL Stanley Cup Finals in 1997 (Philadelphia Flyers vs. Detroit Red Wings) and 2010 (Philadelphia Flyers vs. Chicago Blackhawks).

The Philadelphia 76ers will host the “Phila Unite Playoff Party” at XFINITY Live! this Saturday, April 14, from 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. prior the team’s first playoff game at 8 p.m. vs. The Miami Heat. The party will feature a performance by rapper and North Philadelphia native Freeway, appearances by 76ers legends as well as Sixers ENT, including the Sixers Dancers, Sixers Dunk Squad, presented by Dunkin' Donuts, and mascot Franklin. 97.5 Fanatic (WPEN), the official flagship radio station partner of the Philadelphia 76ers, will broadcast live from the event.

Fans attending the “Phila Unite Playoff Party” and all other 76ers playoff events at XFINITY Live!, and purchase a 16 oz. Coors Light will have the opportunity to purchase a 16 oz. 76ers branded metal beer cup for an additional $7.50 ($8.25 with tax) among other food and drink specials.
