Traffic Advisory: I-95 northbound approaching Center City to close February 3rd-5th

Interstate 95 will be closed and detoured from Saturday evening, February 3, to Monday morning, February 5, between Columbus Boulevard (Exit 20) and Interstate 676 (Exit 22). Fans planning to drive to this weekend's 76ers and Villanova games should allow extra time to get to the Sports Complex. 

The I-95 northbound Broad Street exit and entry ramps will remain open. However, PennDOT has proposed the following alternate routes to avoid additional volume that the closure may have on I-95 to the Sports Complex.

 

When Traveling to the Wells Fargo Center

Alternative routes to I-95 northbound from the Airport

• Use I-95 Exit 13, westbound I-76, 291 Valley Forge and use the Platt Bridge to Pattison Avenue.
• Use I-476 northbound to I-76 eastbound and take Exit 349 to southbound Broad Street.

 

When Traveling from the Wells Fargo Center

Alternative routes to I-95 Northbound

• Enter I-76 westbound at Broad Street to I-676 eastbound (Vine Street Expressway) to I-95 northbound.
• Take Pattison Avenue westbound to Penrose Avenue, turn right on 26^th Street to enter I-76 westbound to I-676 eastbound (Vine Street Expressway) to I-95 northbound.
